In September, the gallery proudly presents the work of Jeroen Camfferman—artist, singer, and songwriter—who rediscovered his passion for painting after a 15-year break, inspired by his late mother’s final words: “You were made to create.” Through his art, Jeroen honors her memory, expressing themes of love, loss, and the power of purpose. His style blends emotion with intention, inviting viewers into a world that’s both deeply personal and universally resonant.

His September exposition is a celebration of creativity reborn—vibrant, reflective, and filled with meaning.

For the past three years, a gallery has taken shape inside the shop of R.M. Schippers Framing, where over ten artists have already exhibited their work. These artists work in vastly different media—from paper to canvas, watercolor to oil paint—and in a variety of styles, ranging from classical to modern.

Every two months, the exhibition changes, and it’s always exciting to see what the next one will bring. One thing is certain: the combination of gallery and framing studio is a perfect match. Artists benefit from the advice and expertise of Rob Schippers, who knows exactly how to present an artwork in a way that delights the eye—whether through a simple touch like a colored passe-partout or an 18th-century, heavy baroque, gilded frame. Everything is done to enhance the artwork’s value. That’s no surprise, as Rob is the current owner of this family business, which started making frames over a century ago. It’s always a joy to see how he finds the ideal combination.
